I was very excited at my weigh in today. I lost 2.2 pounds for a total of 17 pounds. The worker who weighed me in was really excited for me!! I love the enthusiasm that you receive at these meetings. I have decided that is so extremely important for me to attend these weekly. The best thing is all the advice that you get from the members who attend.
After the meeting I went to Meijer's to pick up a few things. I have been needing some new work shirts in a bad way. It felt good to have to buy them a full size down from what I have gotten in the past. I also bought a new pair of capri's which I had to get two sizes smaller. This is definitly a non-scale victory. I am so more aware now that it is just not the number on the scale, but being able to walk up a flight of stairs without breathing heavy or buying clothes smaller than I have in years!!
My goal for this week is to eat thirty-five grams of fiber a day. I will reach this goal this week because I failed the same goal miserably when I was on vacation!!
