“I heard the bells on Christmas Day; their old familiar carols play, and wild and sweet the word repeat of peace on earth, good-will to men!” ~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
I left work today and was changing the radio station to find a song that I wanted to listen to. Lo and behold on 95.7 there was Christmas music playing. Of course, Christmas in July. Like we need to be reminded that Christmas is less than six months away. My ideal time for Christmas music is after Thanksgiving!! Now Allie and Cammy could probably listen to it every day of the year and love it. In fact Cammy was humming a Christmas song and "Auld Lang Syne" at work the other day. To each their own and I promptly turn the station :)
I decided to try South Beach granola bars. It's has the same amount of fiber as the Fiber One bars that I normally eat, but less calories. I will let everyone know how they taste once I have one. Does anyone have any suggestions for high protein snacks?
Melanie :)
Hummus! I was just telling Jessica that slicing up bell peppers and dipping them in hummus is a good healthy snack. Lots of protein and fiber!
ReplyDeleteI'm all about cottage cheese and Greek yogurt. Not together, of course. The "Greek Gods" brand yogurt (honey flavor) is amazing. Plus if you like cottage cheese, a little pineapple or a couple peach slices can make it even better. The blog is a great idea, Melanie!
ReplyDeleteI think special k makes protein bars.
